developments of Deepeeka, we at Deepeeka have felt the importance of
keeping the fact that all our business partners & patrons should be
updated with the latest updated news of the industry.
As an endeavor to keep you posted with 'what has
happened', 'is happening' & 'is about to happen', we are proud
to announce our newsletter , which will now reach your doorstep via
emails on most regular basis. All our business partners are at liberty

Alexander the Great Lion Face Helmet
After extensive research through published materials, interaction with
the historians, sculptures, researchers etc., we are proud to have
produced our version of famous Alexander the Great Lion
Face Helmet as
shown. This is still a prototype and it is expected that on October
15th, when we will commercially launch this masterpiece. The helmet is made in fiber glass reinforced with steel,
finished most realistically and fits most common head size.
These helmets will be ready by 15th October for shipment and will
be available through all our distributors’ worldwide like in the past. |

Flour Stone Hand
Mill 'CHAKKI'
This carefully researched item was used
by the Roman for grinding wheat for turning into flour while on
campaign and also while at home. This is good 13” in diameter and
weighs 14 Kg. Comes complete with turning handle and the metal
fulcrum suitably mounted which might have been called ‘Chakki’ by
the Romans also. It has been in use in India for centuries by
this name and it is also quite possible that Alexander the Great may
have brought it first time to India on his campaign to the Indus
Valley region.

Roman Leather Tent
Most meticulously crafted full size vegetable tanned leather tent
made by 18”x18” size square patches for which close to 160 full
leather sides of full grown cows were cut to produce this piece. The
size of complete tent is 14’x12’x 9’. It comes complete with
suitable folding frame on which the complete tent is assembled. This
piece comes packed in a canvas bag of its own for easy
transportation from one meet to another.
This tent is great even for use for medieval reenactments.

Leather Roman Saddle
Careful and meticulous research has gone in developing this
product wherein sturdy four poster wooden frame has been suitably
mounted with proper padding filled with the horse hair and covered
with vegetable tanned brown colour leather. Comes complete with the
suitable hardware as used in those times.
This Roman Saddle is also believed to have been used in Celtic time
and some historians believe that this could be Celtic period!

in Nashville Roman Re-Enactment Festival & Filming Event ---- |
|
Deepeeka
is proud to
announce their involvement as they become a part of one of the biggest
Roman re-enactment festival of US where several re-enactors & historians
get together this year on 16th and 17th October at
Nashville's Centennial Park War Memorial Building.
The festival is expected to be covered
extensively by various film companies, living history channel Discovery
& National Geographic Channel.
The Deepeeka team including leading historians Mr. Daniel
Peterson, Mr. Sam Agarwal & Simon will be available at the event for
one-to-one interaction with all our customers & friends. We do look
forward to seeing you there. |
